Job Responsibilities

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, your duties may include:

  • Driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Operating refrigerated tractor-trailer equipment.
  • Completing pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Checking tires, lights, brakes, refrigeration systems, and other equipment.
  • Maintaining driver logbooks and inspection reports.
  • Recording cargo information, fuel consumption, distance traveled, and hours of service.
  • Communicating with central dispatch.
  • Performing preventive maintenance and emergency roadside repairs.
  • Securing cargo using tarps and other safety equipment.
  • Providing professional customer service.
  • Driving manual transmission vehicles on long-haul and international routes.

Job Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
  • 1–2 years of relevant truck-driving experience.
  • Valid AZ Class license.
  • Class 1 or A driver’s license.
